Ingredients (Makes 6 servings)

1 small onion, sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced thinly

 3.5 tbsp. Oleumm8, divided

 1 sheet phyllo pastry

½ of a medium wheel of brie

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F, and line a round pizza baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice onions and mushrooms.
  3. Heat 1.5 tbsp. Oleumm8 in a pan and sauté onions and mushrooms until fragrant, and softened.
  4. Lay out phyllo pastry on a floured surface, cut a circle, using a large plate as a guide.
  5. Make four incisions in the center on the phyllo, as demonstrated in the video.
  6. Slice brie and scatter on the outside of the phyllo wreath, top with mushroom and onion mixture, and fold over the center phyllo pieces that were cut.
  7. Brush phyllo with 2 tbsp. Oleumm8 and bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until phyllo is golden, and brie is melted.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, and cut in wedges using a pizza slicer, or knife

This food is a good source of Vitamin K, and a very good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Omega 3 and Omega 6 in a healthy ratio.
