Vegan Omega-3 Sorbet – Tastes Better than Ice Cream

Ingredients

Makes 5 servings / Each serving is 1 Cup (136 g)

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup Oleumm8
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon

Directions

  1. In a metal bowl, whisk together the sugar with milks, vanilla and salt, until
    the sugar and salt are completely dissolved.
  2. Slowly pour Oleumm8 in a steady stream to the sugar and milk mixture,
    while whisking continuously. Add in the lemon juice and lemon zest, whisk
    again.
  3. Let sit in fridge for 20 minutes to set, and to cool to 4°C.
  4. Pour mixture into ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer
    instructions.
  5. Enjoy with a lemon zest garnish and a drizzle of Oleumm8. You can easily
    double or triple this recipe for a crowd!

This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of
Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin A and K, Omega 3 and Omega 6 in a healthy ratio.
